It has been almost a year since I have updated anything on here. I'm sure if you read this then you probably know me in person and know about how my time in Cambodia ended.
What you may not know is that I am heading back to Cambodia on May 1st and in August of this year I will be marrying the man of my dreams.
Kong.
Who knew I would fall in love with him?! I sure didn't see it coming. Turns out he is only 2 years younger than me and is absolutely perfect for me. There is no one else out there who is a better match for me. I'm crazy about the guy, and even though our relationship is not the norm, I am more than ready to commit myself to him for life.
I am currently taking a TESOL class so I can teach out there and make money to support myself. Kong and I are hoping to rent a house together. I will be gone for a year or two, and hopefully by then I will be able to bring Kong home with me to Canada.
I am very excited yet sad to be leaving again so soon. It's hard for me to be away from Canada. My friends and family. But I would be more sad to stay away from Kong. I don't care where I am living, as long as I am with him.
So here I go! Another whirl wind adventure in Cambodia!
Hopefully I'll remember to update in here every once in a while for those who prefer blogs.
